Tubing

We went tubing today behind grampa's truck! Aiden stayed on the tube for almost 30 minutes! He loved it. Hunter only lasted about 10 secs before screaming at the top of her lungs! We all had a blast!

A new car!

We made the plunge into a new car. Christopher finaaly got an official letter of employment and we decided that we would need two cars in the near future. After driving a hundred cars we decided on a 2005 pathfinder! I love it. As soon as we get picts of it I will post it.

I want to go to Nannies house

SO Aiden has been asking non-stop to go to Nannies house AKA Becky's- I want to go to nannies and watch a movie, I want to go to nannies and take a bath, I want to play with Kicker at Nannies house, I want to play with Landon at Nannies house, and so on and so forth. Good thing we are going to Nannies house for Christmas! I think if he asks again I will fly him there---soon!

It's off the Denver we go!

So we finally made the decision to go accept the job that is in Denver. We are way excited about it. We had a choice between Denver and St. Louis and to tell you the truth it was hard to decide. They were both great opportunities. We decided to stay close to family and friends! Now it is just time to decide where to live down there!

The Things We Teach Our Kids!!!!

So I was showering with Aiden the other day and the opportunity came up to teach him a valuable lesson. The video shows what he learned . . .

We had him tell all of our friends at church on Sunday he gets excited when he gets to share his lesson. He dropped the soap in the shower and I told him that under no circumstances was it ever okay for him to drop the soap in the shower!

We are moving

Well its finally official. We are moving from Fort Collins. The last ditch effort to stay here has failed, and i guess it is time to move on. We still don't know where we are going, but it seems to be far from here. I am a little melancholy about it all. The last time that we lived this long in one place was in rexburg. I am excited to be out of the school mode. At the same time, It is hard to go. I love Christopher being available as much as he is. I am unsure of the future, but it will be great.

Halloween Party!

We had our you married group halloween party this past Saturday! We decidrd to do the whole cave man thing! I think that it turned out pretty well. I made Christopher's and my costume in about an hour! Good thing cavemen weren't picky about hems and straight lines!

Morning Cereal

Christopher taught Hunter to drink the milk out of her bowl. It is the funniest thing. Now she will drink the milk out of her bowl before she will eat the cereal. What a dork!

Lilo and Stitch

So this is Aiden saying Lilo and Stitch. You just have to listen very carefully to hear it. If you are not listening carefully it sounds a bit different!

No More Mullet!!!

Yea! It is gone. I am so excited. However, Aiden really misses his mohawk. He keeps wanting me to put his hair in a mow hawk. I never new he was so attached to it. I hope that he will get use to his new hair!

This is us messing around! Aiden wanted all of us to put mister potato head faces in out mouths!

Pumpkins

We carved pumpkins on Saturday night. The Kids loved it. Aiden wouldn't really touch the seeds because he didn't like the way that they felt. He did like to light them up and kept singing Happy Birthday to the candles!

Aiden's Hair Cut

Christopher decided to cut Aiden's Mohawk which was completely okay with me. I was ready to see it go. However, he decided to cut the mohawk shorter to let the sides grow in BUT to not cut the back of his mowhawk. Now aiden has a mullet. A MULLET!!!! It is ridiculous. And to top it all off, aiden wants a pony tail in his hair!! I hope that this hair will be gone soon!!

Don't you just love Kids!

Today was one of those days. Nothing to do, no one wanted to play, and Hunter wanted to be "Hunter the Destructer." She kept grabbing things out of Aiden's hands, climbing in and out of my lap, and tearing up the car mat that we were driving cars on. Finally, I had enough. We went to the park by our house. That was great for fifteen minutes, then Hunter fell and hit her tooth on the playground equipment. She was bleeding so i decided to take the show back home. Aiden wasn't very happy with that and cried for 10 minutes about our cruel and unusual punishment of making him come home. You want to know the thing that distracted him? I pizza made with a tortilla, spaghetti sauce and cheese. Oh, yeah and the today show! The funny thing is now that they are both asleep I don't know what to do with myself, and I can't wait for them to wake up! They are funny and make me laugh.

Aiden Tying Flies

Yesterday between the conference sessions I asked Aiden if he would like to help me make some chile for dinner. He climbed onto the couch and told me that he was going to "tie fly rods" instead so I helped him thread his hook and tie on the chenille. He rapped the chenille around the hook and I finished it for him. The pictures show how concentrated he was, as you can see he uses his tongue to concentrate just like his dad.

It makes me a happy dad to see my son interested in some of the same things that I am. He also likes to have me string my flyrod up and he casts it, when he casts he says "back forward" and throws the line all over the place. I can't wait to fish with him next year.

Our Angels

So here is the kids picture. They were suppose to be hugging. The photographer originally told them to kiss but Hunter tried to slip in some tongue. Aiden said, " Eww Gross." I wish the photographer got a picture of his face! Anyway-- I think they are angels!

We just got family pictures done yesterday. Talk about crazy!! I never realize how hard it was to get two kids to look at the camera at the same time and smile. Overall, they did great. I really love the way that the pictures turned out!

Our Family

Well, to tell you a little bit about our family. Tara and I have known eachother since we were both in High School. I was 15 when I met Tara and she was 14. We hung out a lot and started dating when I was 16 and she was 15 (don't tell anyone she wasn't 16 yet). We dated all through high school without even breaking up once and then a total of a week shy of 5 years of dating we got married in the Denver Colorado Temple. After being married for a year we got pregnant and had Aiden in March of 2005. He has brought much happiness and excitement into our lives. The same time Aiden was born both Tara and I graduated from BYU-Idaho, Tara with her BS in Health Science and Me with my BS in Business Management. We lived in Los Alamos, NM for almost a year after we graduate and decided that it was time for Me to go back to school. So in August of 2006 I started my Masters Degree in Construction Management at Colorado State University in Fort Collins, CO, oh and we had another child a week before moving and starting school in Fort Collins,her name is Hunter and she is such a doll. She always makes us laugh and likes to tease her older brother. I will be graduating this December and it is all up in the air on where we will be heading, but we will keep you posted. Tara stays at home with our kids, and does a fine job at raising them. In her free time she enjoys scrapbooking and reading, when I am not doing school work or spending time with my family I extremely enjoy flyfishing. We all like to camp a lot and be in the outdoors.
