Potty Training--DAY 1 1/2

I think that potty training is easy. Okay, not really but if the kid is ready... IT WORKS! Aiden had a ton of accidents yesterday morning but since last night he has been going potty. IT IS AMAZING! I keep asking myself why I didn't try this before. I hope that the rest of the day goes as well.

On another note... we moved Hunter to a big girl bed. She really did outgrow the pack and play. She is so funny. If she doesn't want to go to bed she just climbs out. Then you put her back in and get two steops away and she climbs out again. Then repeat. I finally just sat on her floor until she fell asleep. She did stay in for nap after some escapades today. Hopefully she will catch on quickly. I will post pics!

PS- She had cute hair today. I had to share

I am sick of sickness

This week has not been fun. All of us have been sick. I took Aiden and Hunter to the doctor on Tuesday after Aiden had a fever for 4 days. The both had ear infections. I woke up with the cold on Tuesday. Christopher woke up with it yesterday. It seems that we were all just sick right before Christmas. I hope that we are done being sick for the rest of winter. The up side of it for the kids is that they weren't subjected to potty training this week. Little do they know that it is still coming on Monday. Wish me luck!

Its off to Castle Rock we go

AS most of you know Christopher got a job in southern Denver. He started this week. He seems to like it but this week as been a little slow. He really didn't have much to do. We have been living at Christopher's mom's house and my mom's house for the last month or so until we found a nice place. We finally found a sweet townhome in Castle rock that fit our budget and our wants. It is really cute. i am so excited to have our own space again. i am really excited to get our grumpy children back on a schedule again. I am grateful for the opportunity that we had to spend so much time with our families before we have to settle into the real world. It is nice to be around everyone and get to know them better. After all-- We our family and we will be around for a long time.

PS I will miss everyone in Fort Collins. you guys don't know how much you meant to me and my family!
